Foster & Adoptive Parents

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

— James 1:27
This community is a safe place for Moms of foster or adopted children to come together with other women who “speak the same language.” There are unique blessings and challenges that come with being a foster or adoptive family.
We meet to love, support, and encourage one another as we follow our call to love children in need. Each gathering will include a topical video teaching or devotional and follow up discussion, as well as a chance to share what is going on in our lives.
Considering adoption or foster parenting? This is a great place for support as you make that decision. Please fill out our contact form to be contacted with more information.

Consistent attendance is important to find healing. You are also expected to complete a minimum of 30 minutes of work each day. Because space is limited, do not register for this group if you cannot fulfill these commitments.

Mending The Soul

Mending The Soul is a group for women affected by abuse.

The first step in healing is to choose to work through the healing process. The journey may seem long and uncertain, but peace and wholeness are worth it. This group will give you choices – to build safe relationships, to be comforted and to comfort to others, to be honest and let go of lies, turn away from distractions and numbing behaviors, to choose rest and take time to listen to your heart and feel again. You don’t have to go it alone. Be assured God will be with you each step of the way.
