1. We hear a lot about purpose and living a purpose driven life.

a. How would you describe a purpose driven life?

b. What does living a purpose driven life look like?

2. Jesus said he came to provide life, an abundant life (John 10:10).

a. How would you explain abundant life to someone who has never read the bible?

b. What is the difference between “normal” life and abundant life?

c. Would you consider your life an example of abundant life? If not, how do you get there?

3. Seasons of life bring change, and with it, changes in perceived identity. That is why “what we do” does not define

our identity. Our identity is not defined by success, failure, or activities.

a. How would you define or describe identity?

b. Where do you get your sense of identity?

c. Introduce yourself in 2-3 minutes without telling anything that you do.

4. The women at the well’s identity was completely changed through one encounter with Jesus. How has Jesus

changed your identity and how you view yourself?

5. Gifts + Passions = Purpose.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it

abundantly.

 

John 16:7-11 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper

will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin,

and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to

My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

 

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and

remind you of all that I said to you.
