How Your Dollars Make a Difference

When you give to the mission of Cross Timbers, you make giving hope possible. We rely on your financial gifts to create resources that help people grow in their faith and learn how to make a difference in their communities. Your generosity allows us to meet needs locally and around the world through ministries like The Healing Place, which offers free mental health support and The Hope Center, which offers practical assistance like food and car repairs. Thank you for making a difference!

Why should I tithe?

A theme running through the Bible is that Christ followers bring 10% of our income (a tithe) to the local church in order for God to transform our lives (Philippians 4:17) as generous disciples and to further the vision and mission of His local church at Cross Timbers.  Malachi 3:10 reads, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple.  If you do, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, I will open the windows of heaven for you.  I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in!  Jesus affirms the tithe in the New Testament in Matthew 23:23.
