Kids (Birth- 5th grade)

Helping families build and share hope in their home and in their community.

Welcome to CT Kids

We believe there's not greater honor than to partner with our parents and help raise up the next generation to know and love Jesus. We offer fun, safe, and an age appropriate environment that have each child specifically in mind.

We want to help each child develop and build their faith into a relationship with the Lord that lasts a lifetime, and that they want to share with joy and confidence!

How to Get Started

Every Sunday morning, we have Kids programming during our regular church services at 9 AM and 11 AM.

When you arrive, head left to the hallway from the main lobby and walk straight back to our Kids entrance to meet our friendly greeters who will help you check your kids in and direct them to the appropriate classroom based on their age group.

To help make your Sunday morning drop-off fast and easy, plan your visit ahead of time and pre-register your kids.

What to Expect

Each Sunday, your kids will learn age appropriate biblical truths through worship, teaching, games and crafts.

Your child will be welcomed in to a safe and loving environment full of fun and worship. We have safe, age-appropriate toys and activities.

Using stories from the Bible, we teach your children these three truths:

  1. God made me
  2. ‍God loves me
  3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

In our Pre-K/K classes, we provide an intentional time of teaching, worship, and fun activities. We Teach foundational truths of what it means to not only follow Jesus, but be loved by Him too. We love being able to connect and help grow a foundational faith that helps them build a relationship with Jesus.

Each week we have a time of live worship, amazing teaching, games, with all of it ending in small groups broken into grades. We have an absolute blast while kids learn they are loved, seen and known by a God who wants to encounter them daily.

FAQs

We have never attended CT Kids before. How do we check in our child?

We are so excited and honored you are considering joining us in CT Kids!

Upon entering our Kids Lobby, a serve team member will be waiting to help you check-in. We will ask for your contact information, as well as specifics regarding your child. From there, we will escort you and your child to their room.

To help this process go smoother on a Sunday morning, you can pre-register with all this information beforehand by completing our Plan a Visit Form.

How will you get ahold of me if my child needs me?

You will receive a text message to the number you provide during check-in. If you do not respond within 5 minutes of receiving the text, the code on your parent tag will appear on the screen.

Can my children of different ages stay together?

We strive to accommodate your children in the best way possible. If requested, we are happy to keep siblings, family members, or visiting friends together during their time with us. However, for safety and developmental reasons, our policy does not allow younger children to join older age group classrooms. Older children, on the other hand, may join their younger siblings in younger classrooms if needed.

My child is nervous to be there alone, can I stay in their classroom?

Due to our security policy, only our background checked team members are permitted in the classrooms. We have an experienced team and many leaders who will make sure each child is well cared of. If your child needs your attention, we will contact you via text message.

Is my child safe in CT Kids?

Safety is one of our highest priorities. When you check in, both you and your child will receive matching identification numbers. Your child will wear their identification sticker throughout the service, and our team will verify these numbers match at pick-up.

All Kids team members undergo a thorough screening process, including background checks and comprehensive training, before serving. Additionally, a uniformed police office monitors all Kids areas during every service to maintain a secure environment for your child.

What is your security policy?

Our Kids area is a completely secured and constantly monitored space. During services, the Kids spaces doors are locked and monitored by a uniformed police officer.

All our team members are background checked and ministry safe trained.

What is your diaper changing policy?

We only allow women 18yrs and older to change diapers. We mark each diaper change with a sticker to better communicate with you and keep in informed. If you do not want us to change your child's diaper, please let us know upon check-in.
