Grow Part 4
Message Summary: What do we do with the good fruit? The good fruit that God grows inside us and wants us to give away to others. The good fruit of God’s Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Don’t waste your good fruit by not living a generous and giving lifestyle! Pride and fear stop us from living this kind of life. Know we can trust God who is always with us and will provide for us.
Choose Jesus as your Lord God and He will provide all your needs. Leave a legacy for the next generation by living a generous and giving life.
1. Describe a time when God has generously blessed you by someone else’s giving? How did it make you feel?
2. What circumstances do you struggle with in trusting that God will provide?
3. In 2022, how could you be more generous with your giving to others?
4. What seeds are you planting that will leave a legacy, or what legacy do you hope to leave?
Genesis 1:28 NIV – God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply…”
Genesis 9:7 NIV – But as for you, be fruitful and multiply…
Leviticus 19:9-10 NIV – When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner, I am the Lord your God.
