The Hope Center is a ministry of Cross Timbers Church. Our goal is to pour hope into our city by meeting practical needs and equipping others to share hope.

Ways you can receive and give hope

Would you like to encourage others through the hope that you've been given in Jesus? We have many opportunities to get involved at The Hope Center, and we would love for you to be involved in transforming the city of Denton by sharing that hope with others.

The Hope Center at Cross Timbers Church is holding it's first annual Feed the City Rib Cook-off, and we need you to sign up now! Cash prizes will be awarded.

With unemployment on the rise, many families are without adequate food. We want to change that! Put your cooking skills to the test, and let's work together to Feed the City of Denton.

Friday, June 12
Arrive at 7am to set up. Cooking begins at 8am. Judging takes place at 4pm.

Lunch for participants and family fun activities will be provided throughout the day.

Location: Denton Campus, 312 W McKinney St, Denton, TX 76201

To enter: You will need to supply 4 racks of St. Louis style pork ribs. 1 rack will be submitted to be judged, the remaining 3 will be donated to The Hope Center for the Feed The City Event on Saturday, June 13. You will be responsible for your own equipment and will be provided a space to cook on-site at the Denton campus.

Feed the City is our way of giving hope to our city by offering free food to anyone who could use a meal. Everyone is welcome to come back on Saturday for drive through service and enjoy the food prepared during the Feed the City Rib Cook-off.

Hungry? Tired of cooking? The Hope Center and Cross Timbers Church are feeding the city of Denton on Saturday, June 13th from 10:30AM to 1:30PM. Stop by for some fresh BBQ ribs cooked by some of the best chefs in town. We want to bless the city. Everyone is welcome!
