Meet Jill Ward. She has been serving with us for 13 years! Here is what she had to say about how her life has been transformed through the ministry at Cross Timbers…
Recently, at our Back-to-School event, a family attended that hadn’t been to Cross Timbers in many years because her three kids needed supplies. The mother opened up to one of our Serve Team members and explained that her daughter was having a rough time.
Your giving makes a difference at Cross Timbers Church! Your generosity allows us to bless the community with events like Feed the City, offering free food and meaningful connection to our friends in Denton.
When you raise your hand to serve, sponsor, or give your financial resources at Cross Timbers, you make events like Fix My Ride possible. At our recent event, we were able to help many people right here in our own community get back on the road and back on their feet by offering free car repair and maintenance to those who needed it.
Your generosity allows us to offer free counseling and mental health support through our Healing Place. We recently heard from a man who attended the Adult Grief Group sessions at the Healing Place after the loss of his son.
Giving can make a huge difference in the lives of others, leaving a lasting impact for years to come. Recently, a member of Cross Timbers shared a story of how generosity made a difference in the life of a student.
This is a message we received from Max, who experienced life transformation at Cross Timbers…
During one of our Feed the City Events on Sunday, a woman who was in line to receive food stopped one of our staff members to tell how important and needed our weekly food distribution was. She said that she had been coming for a few weeks and was now able to provide food for two families in her neighborhood that were struggling to provide for themselves.
During our Gift of Hope event, we got to bless over 100 families with a shopping experience and send them home with plenty of gifts for their children to open on Christmas morning. We want to say thank you to all who showed up, loved on these families, wrapped presents, donated gifts, gave financial resources, and made this day so special for them.
