Wow! We don’t even have words for how special this evening was for the ladies of Cross Timbers Church. What we anticipated being 200 women ended up being 300 women because so many people brought their friends to share in the fun. This entire evening was designed to give these women a chance to take a breath, connect with other women, and tend to the soil of their souls. They got to hear some powerful messages from women in different stages of life, soak in some beautiful acoustic music, participate in fun activities, and make memories and friendships they will carry far beyond this night. The feedback we heard from those who attended was that they appreciated the time to relax and be in a place where they could be very authentic and feel accepted and loved by others. They told us that they felt safe in a place where they didn’t have to have it all together, or have their lives tied up in a perfect little bow, and felt the reassurance that God loves us through our messy moments. So thank you for being a church family that loves others well. Thank you for your authenticity and willingness to share your stories to glorify God.
